On display at the exhibition hall are art pieces showing the revolutionary career and exploits of the President.

Oil paintings and other art pieces deal with the history of revolutionary activities of the President who accomplished the historic cause of Korea's liberation and built a genuine country of the people on this land.

Korean paintings portray the President who made a ceaseless journey of devotion till the last moments of his life.

An acryl painting reflects the deep reverence of the Korean people and the world's progressives for the President, a peerlessly great man who contributed to the socialist movement and the human cause of independence.

Korean paintings and other art pieces portray Chairman Kim Jong Il, a great man who remained faithful to the President's idea and intention.

Exhibited are also art pieces including oil paintings and Korean paintings reflecting the fighting spirit, traits and steadfast faith and strong stamina the Korean people have displayed in every period of the revolution.

And there are art pieces of different themes showing the stirring reality of the country in which a new era of thriving nation is opened under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, as well as the people who turned out in implementing the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee and the schoolchildren full of happiness.

A ceremony of opening the exhibition took place at the Okryu Exhibition Hall on April 7.

Attending it were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned, artists and working people in Pyongyang City.

Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.

On the same day, similar exhibitions were opened in Pyongyang City and each province.
