On display are more than 20,000 publications of over 15,000 kinds, including works authored by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Among the exhibits are the books explaining the Party policies and contributing to the five-point education. Literary books and sci-tech ones and recently published ones are also on show.

An opening ceremony took place at the Okryu Exhibition Hall on Monday.

Attending the ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, journalists and editors in the publishing sector.
