President Kim Il Sung took measures to turn the historic area of Pochonbo into a center for education in revolutionary traditions and gave solutions to the issues arising in the excavation of revolutionary relics and the education in the revolutionary traditions.

Visiting the revolutionary battle site of Pochonbo several times, Chairman Kim Jong Il gave instructions to spruce up the area and intensify the education to arm Party members, working people, service personnel, youth and students with the Party's revolutionary traditions.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set it as a strategic task facing the current stage of the Korean revolution to further intensify the education in the revolutionary traditions and laid down the tasks facing the field of preservation of revolutionary relics and the ways for carrying them out.

Under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great men, the museum has registered proud achievements in education for the past 70 years.
