Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the International Alliance, praised President Kim Il Sung as a distinguished great man who led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory to liberate the country and founded the true Party, state and army for the people.

The President was a great statesman who defeated the imperialist aggressors in the Fatherland Liberation War and made the DPRK display its dignity as a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, and an outstanding leader who energetically steered the cause of global independence, he added.

He said that the world revolutionary people pay high tribute to Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea and the eternal leader of the Korean people, on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

Speeches were also made by Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the chief of the Moscow Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other personages.

The speakers highly praised Kim Il Sung, who made contributions to accomplishing the socialist cause, the cause of anti-imperialist independence, as an extraordinary thinker-theoretician and a veteran statesman recognized by the world.

Adopted at the seminar was a message of greeting to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
