The Textile Industry Association of Korea meticulously organized a work for finding out the realistic and rational proposals to raise the quality of cloth for school uniforms and bags and increasing productivity.

The Forestry Association of Korea strove to introduce the sci-tech successes and experience gained in further improving afforestation and management to different areas across the country.

The Agricultural Technology Association of Korea organized a work for finding out and applying the methods for increasing the wheat and barley production. It has had successful in-depth discussions with the Breeding Society of Korea for selecting valuable proposals to increase the potato production in northern plateaus and plains of the DPRK.

The Metallic Materials Society of Korea and the Welding Society of Korea are making full-fledged preparations for more brisk sci-tech activities helpful to the development of the metal industry of the country.

Other academic associations and societies, too, have made a stride forward in the work to settle the urgent sci-tech problems of practical significance in different sectors of the national economy.
