Attending it were personages and members of various political parties and organizations in Bangladesh, including the Workers' Party, the National Socialist Party, the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Awami League, the Institute of the Juche Idea and the Group for the Study of the Songun Policy.

Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Bangladesh, and Hasanul Huq Inu, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, and others made speeches.

The speakers lauded President Kim Il Sung as a great revolutionary, peerless patriot and elder statesman who glorified the 20th century as a century of victorious advance in the socialist cause, the cause of anti-imperialist independence with his profound ideas and theories, distinguished leadership and gigantic revolutionary practice.

They noted that the Korean people have made successes one after another in the struggle to strengthen their defence capabilities and improve their living standard under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea led by His Excellency Kim Jong Un even in the ever-changing international political situation.

They expressed the belief that the heroic Korean people would gain greater successes in socialist construction, rallied close around Kim Jong Un in one mind and purpose, extending invariable support and solidarity to the struggle of the Party and the people of the DPRK.
