A decision on awarding the title of honorary citizen to the peerlessly great men was adopted on April 7 on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.

The written decision says that the title of honorary citizen is awarded to HE Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, HE Kim Jong Il, eternal leader of the DPRK, and HE Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea who provides the Korean people with a brighter and more prosperous future by carrying forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders in reflection of the will of the city government and its citizens.

The mayor of the city conveyed the certificate of honorary citizen to an official concerned of the DPRK working in Ecuador.
