The stamps show President Kim Il Sung's birthplace at Mangyongdae in the balmy spring of April on a background of fireworks being set off in the festive sky to symbolize the people's boundless reverence for him.

The sheet, bearing letters "April 15, the Day of the Sun", has an image of smiling Kim Il Sung wishing Juche Korea a bright future.

The sheetlet containing stamps depicting Korean paintings "Eternal Sun", "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Bringing Up the Workers of Kangson Steel Plant to be Standard-bearers of the Chollima Movement" and "In a Field of Bumper Harvest" helps remind one of the devotion and efforts the President made by visiting factories and farms tirelessly for the country's prosperity and people's happiness throughout his life.

On the upper parts of the stamps are letters "In Celebration of the 110th Birth Anniversary of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung".
