Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and director of the Organizational Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman and director general of the General Affairs Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Song Kun Hak, vice-chairman and director of the Education Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and chairwoman of the Central Stranding Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, Ri Myong Yu, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, Han Tong Song, rector of Korean University, advisors and department directors of the Chongryon Centr al Committee, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, chairpersons of headquarters of Chongryon, leading officials of central leadership bodies and affiliates of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan.

Ho Jong Man in a report highly praised the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung as a peerlessly great man and outstanding leader who laid solid foundations for the eternal victory and prosperity of Juche Korea by leading the unprecedentedly arduous and stern Korean revolution.

The great Generalissimo is alive in the hearts of the Korean people as the tender-hearted father of the people, a peerlessly great man revered by all people, he said.

He recalled that the Generalissimo formed Chongryon, a genuine national organization and compatriots' organization, on May 25, 1955, thus firmly putting the movement of Koreans in Japan on a Juche-oriented orbit and leading Chongryon to become a model organization in the world overseas compatriots movement till the last moments of his great life.

Saying the feats the Generalissimo performed for the cause of Juche and the movement of Koreans in Japan were further glorified under the guidance of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the reporter stressed that the great leaders' desire for building a powerful nation has been translated into brilliant reality by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Chongryon will greet its 25th Congress to be held this year of great auspicious events in the nation's history in a lively atmosphere of lauding the great leaders and implementing their behests, holding them in high esteem, he said.

He called upon all the officials of Chongryon and other compatriots to go all out for the patriotic movement for further demonstrating the might of Chongryon, the precious patriotic legacy of Kim Il Sung, to the world and putting the movement of Koreans in Japan on the stage of overall development under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory letter of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
