Pyongyang City placed the first place in total standings, South Phyongan Province the second place and Jagang Province the third place.

The Pyongyang City Taekwon-Do team came first in Taekwon-Do event, the South Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-Do team second and the Jagang Provincial Taekwon-Do team third.

The Paduk team under the Pyongyang City Paduk Centre came first in Paduk event, and the Paduk teams under the South Phyongan Provincial Paduk Centre second and the South Hamgyong Provincial Paduk Centre third.

The Pyongyang City Janggi Association won the first place in Janggi (Korean chess) event, the North Hwanghae Provincial Janggi Association the second place and the Kangwon Provincial Janggi Association the third place.

Present at the closing ceremony were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Kim Chun Sik, secretary general of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, sportspersons and citizens in Pyongyang.

Vice-premier of the Cabinet Kim Song Ryong made a closing address.
