The Agricultural Commission and rural economy committees of all provinces make the officials concerned pay a primary attention to storing water and maintaining and overhauling irrigation facilities on the spots.

So far a large amount of water has been stored at hundreds of reservoirs, waterways extending over 16, 000 kilometers cleared and over 12, 000 groundwater facilities, irrigation structures and pumping facilities successfully repaired.
