Attending the closing ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Song Hak, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned and the participants in the festival.

There was a prize-giving ceremony, where 3 units were awarded special prize, 14 units group prize, 3 works and 7 units prize of ensemble and 59 persons individual prize.

And festival certificates and cups were conferred on seven works highly appreciated in the magic festival.

A letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.

Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu, chairman of the festival organizing committee, made a closing address.

He said that through the 7th April Spring People's Art Festival, the Korean people realized once again that the history of the sun is given steady continuity on this land as they hold another peerlessly great man in high esteem, revering the President boundlessly.

Then a closing performance was given.
