Premier Kim Tok Hun Inspects Construction Site of 10, 000 Flats in Hwasong Area and Chollima Steel Complex
Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the construction site of 10, 000 flats in the Hwasong area and the Chollima Steel Complex.

In the housing construction site in the Hwasong area, he stressed the need for officials and builders to devote their wisdom and ardor to the construction of new modern city district on a perfect level by drawing on the achievements and experience gained in the construction of Songhwa Street, keeping in their minds the intention of the Party Central Committee pushing forward with the housing construction in the capital city every year.

He emphasized the need to meticulously organize the operation and command of the construction projects under well thought-out plan in keeping with the three-dimensional speedy construction and to successfully ensure the provision of building materials in time.

At the Chollima Steel Complex, he, learning in detail about the production, underscored the need to further perfect our style iron production method in a technical way to ensure satisfactory production and supply of various kinds of steel and called for taking measure for the provision of fuel, raw and other materials.

The field consultative meetings discussed the issue of conducting the construction guidance in a sci-tech way in order to thoroughly guarantee the quality and speed of projects, the issue for officials to carry out without fail the monthly and quarterly production plans with unusual awareness, competent organizing ability and strenuous drive, and the issue of lowering the cost of iron production to promote the work for reinforcing the existing production foundation on a long-term basis.
