Present there were Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI), Takao Kamakura, director of the IIJI and adviser to the Japanese National Liaison Council of Societies for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, members of Juche idea study organizations across Japan, personages of Japan-DPRK friendship organizations and officials of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Korean University.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Kunio Miyakawa, co-representative of the Japanese Gunma Liaison Council for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and Fumihiro Himori, chairman of the Japan Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, called for consolidating the solidarity with the Korean people for peace in Asia and Japan after reviewing the present international situation.

Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and director of the Organizational Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, referred to President Kim Il Sung's exploits for national liberation and the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and his noble virtues and personality and great loving care for Koreans in Japan.

He stressed that the revolutionary cause of Juche, pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and vigorously advanced by Chairman Kim Jong Il, is winning victory after victory under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

At the meeting, congratulatory messages from the Korean Association of Social Scientists and others were introduced to be followed by lectures.

Adopted there was a letter to Kim Jong Un.

Keizo Sumiya, chairman of the Japanese Fukushima Liaison Council for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, declared the meeting closed, calling for striving to realize independence of Japanese society by deepening the study of the Juche idea.

An art performance was given on the same day.
