On the basis of the Juche idea, President Kim Il Sung gave perfect answers to all the issues arising in the national liberation struggle and set an example of it.

He defeated the two formidable U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation to defend freedom and the independence of the country and built a socialist society centered on the popular masses on the land of Korea.

He clarified the idea on making the whole world independent and wisely led the struggle for its realization.

The slogan "People of the World Advocating Independence, Unite!" set forth by the President served as an inspiring banner of ushering in a period of upsurge in the cause of anti-imperialist independence in the latter half of the 20th century.
