Present at the talk were Han Su Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, official concerned, Sisavath Khamsaly, Lao ambassador to the DPRK, and members of his embassy.

Han Su Chol said that the historic meeting between the preceding leaders of the two countries served as a signal opportunity of propelling the new development of the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation.

He stressed the Korean people are convinced that the Lao party and people will certainly attain the targets set forth at the 11th Party Congress, overcoming all sorts of challenges and difficulties.

He expressed the steadfast will of our Party and people to invariably strengthen and develop the friendly and cooperative relations based on comradely obligation between the two parties and peoples of the two countries as required by the new era.

Ambassador Sisavath Khamsaly stressed that the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation provided by President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Kim Il Sung would steadily grow stronger under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries.

He said that the Lao people are rejoiced over the great achievements made by the Korean people in the struggle to implement the decisions of the 8th Party Congress.

Saying that Laos fully supports the DPRK's policies and the Korean people's struggle for peace, independence and development, the ambassador sincerely wished the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un good health.
