Present there were Ju Chol Gyu, vice-premier of the Cabinet and concurrently chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the Agricultural Commission, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK), relevant fields and units taking part in the emulation.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, presented the review data.

He recalled that last year the units which took part in the emulation drive put a main focus on renovating and repairing greenhouses and mushroom farms and producing more than 300 tons of vegetables per hectare and lots of tasty and nutritious mushrooms.

Lots of units held experience presentation, technical training and workshops in various forms and actively introduced advanced cultivation technologies, thereby over-fulfilling the plans for greenhouse vegetable production and supply, he noted.

He referred to the achievements the mushroom producers made by putting the cultivation on a scientific, intensive and industrial basis and conducting mass movement for increasing production.

A video segment showed achievements and experience made by those units ranking first in the emulation drive last year.

Standings were announced and the outline for the socialist emulation drive for 2022 was read out.
