Carried in the organ was a photo of Kim Il Sung making a speech on his historic triumphant return to the homeland.

The general secretary, in his article, praised the President as an outstanding thinker-theoretician and a steadfast revolutionary who provided mankind with precious ideological and moral wealth and dedicated his all to the country and people till the last moments of his life.

The article noted that he had led the Korean people for many years and made great contributions to the international communist movement.

It recalled that after national liberation, the agrarian reform and all other democratic reforms were successfully carried out and a genuine government of the people was established in Korea under the leadership of the President who defeated the Japanese militarists and achieved the independence of the country.

He led the Fatherland Liberation War to victory to honorably defend the sovereignty of the country, it said, adding that the Juche idea founded by him is shedding its rays as the motive power for victorious advance of Korean-style socialism and as the guiding idea in the era of independence.

The article stressed that his feats will be immortal and his august name will be kept deep in the mind of the world people.
