Attending the meeting were Choe Yong, secretary of the Nampho City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and members of the UAWK in Nampho City.

Prior to the meeting, the participants toured the revolutionary battle site on Kuksa Peak.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, read out a resolution at the meeting.

He said that the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, the first revolutionary armed forces of Juche type, by President Kim Il Sung on April 25, Juche 21 (1932) was a signal event enabling the Korean people to have their real army for the first time in history and the main force of revolution capable of playing an initiative and core role in the sacred war for national liberation.

He called upon the agricultural workers and members of the UAWK to conduct a dynamic socialist emulation for attaining the goal of grain production set by the Party, bearing in mind the heavy responsibility for defending the major thrust of socialist construction to guarantee the existence of the state, bolster national power and improve the people's living standard.

He said that the UAWK would fully display its militant might in ushering in a new great era of socialist rural development, holding aloft the slogan "For fresh victory of socialist rural construction!"

The resolution stressed that all organizations of the UAWK would faithfully uphold the idea of the Party and vigorously advance in order to add shine to the tradition of loyalty of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners in the ongoing general advance for achieving the prosperity and development of our state and happiness of all generations under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
