Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, trade union officials and members and workers in Pyongyang.

The concert, started with chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", reflected the warm reverence for the peerlessly great men who put the dignity and status of the working masses on the highest level.

A solemn atmosphere pervaded the venue of the concert along with the female chorus "Song of Anti-Japanese War", an immortal classic, and mixed quintet "Korean People's Revolutionary Army" and other numbers praising the exploits of President Kim Il Sung who embarked on the road of revolution in his early years and founded the first revolutionary armed forces of Juche type and led the hard-fought anti-Japanese war to victory to bring the dawn of national resurrection.

Performers lauded the personality and undying feats of Chairman Kim Jong Il, a peerlessly great man, in songs "The General Is the Son of the Guerrillas" and "Our General Is the Best".

Female duet "O My Motherland Full of Hope" and other numbers were full of ardent reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who put the DPRK's national power and prestige on the highest level.

The concert ended with chorus "Let's Support Our Supreme Commander with Arms".
