Thousands of trees bearing revolutionary slogans have been discovered so far across the country.

Many trees bearing slogans praising President Kim Il Sung, a legendary hero acclaimed by the Korean nation, were found in the area of Mt Paektu.

Discovered in the areas of Rangrim, Sinhung and Anju were trees bearing slogans dealing with revolutionary exploits of Kim Il Sung who advanced into the homeland and built up a strong revolutionary base for all-people resistance.

Being preserved in Yonsa County are about 150 trees bearing slogans praising the immortal exploits performed by the President who visited the area 7 times in order to marshal a broad spectrum of the popular masses for the nation-wide struggle against the Japanese imperialists.

Trees bearing slogans, discovered in different parts of Pyongyang City, including Mangyongdae and the Oun Revolutionary Site, represent the then public mindset that the destiny of the countrymen could be saved only by the President.

Upon receiving the news that Chairman Kim Jong Il was born, members of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army with great excitement and joy barked big trees in forests and wrote on their surface such slogans as "O Korea, the Shining Star of Mt Paektu was born on Mt Paektu" to celebrate his birth.

There are also slogans that represent the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners' spirit of devotedly defending the leader, indomitable revolutionary spirit, optimism and fervent patriotism.

Discovered at the Madusan Revolutionary Battle Site were trees bearing slogans that serve as treasure of the Korean revolution that cannot be bartered for anything.

Slogans "Keep the revolutionary faith to the death" and "Fight death-defyingly for our country and nation" serve as an eternal textbook of revolution instilling into the people the truth that one can carry on the revolution to the end and will have nothing to be ashamed of before the nation only when one firmly preserves one's revolutionary faith.
