The workers of the Kangson Steel Plant, who produced 120, 000 tons of steel at a blooming rolling mill of 60, 000-ton rated capacity in the post-war period, clearly proved through their decisive practice how they should implement the pledge they had made before the Party. They gained successes that are impossible with common sense and existing conception as they had kept with transparent consciousness and do-or-die will to certainly implement the problems desired by President Kim Il Sung with their lives.

The present difficult situation is nothing to the period of the great Chollima upswing when tractors and motor vehicles had to be produced with empty hands.

Only when we strive to implement the pledge we had made before the Party with high awareness and beyond the limitation of standard, ability and potentiality irrespective of conditions as the preceding generations did, can we attain the goals with success despite challenges and difficulties.

All the officials, party members and working people should make contribution to accelerating the comprehensive development of the Korean-style socialist construction by unconditionally and thoroughly implementing the pledge they had made before the Party at any time and at any place.
