More Electricity Generated in North Phyongan Province

| Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the field of hydro-power generation in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK are devoting themselves to implementing the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Workers of the Suphung Power Station put spurs to the power production while accelerating the updating of generators and establishing a strict check-up and repair system. The power station introduced tens of valuable inventions and rationalization proposals this year. The Taechon Power Station generates more electricity by managing generators, transmission system and hydraulic structure as required by the regulations. The Power Station No. 21 in Tongrim County manufactured and installed a new automatic control device and thus overfulfilled the plan for the first quarter of the year. Several power stations increase the power production by accelerating the modernization of control devices. |
