In the contest, more than 1, 000 players selected from ministries and national institutions will play knockout games, divided into four groups.

Teams in Groups A and C will compete at the Taekwon-Do Hall and Groups B and D at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium.

In the first-day match players displayed their high skills and team spirit while playing fair games.

The contest will last until May 4.
