Officials in the forestry sector fixed afforestation areas and species of trees in conformity with the state of forests and topographical features, while properly carrying out organizational and political work.

Citizens in South Phyongan Province planted more than 3, 200, 000 wild fruit trees. Those in Kangwon Province planted at least 17 million trees in the area of thousands of hectares.

Those in North Hamgyong Province, too, have planted more than 15 million trees while observing the technical rules in each planting process.
