The Provincial Rural Economy Committee organized a show and a passing-on-technique course to generalize the advanced farming methods, while properly organizing and guiding the work to finish the sowing of rice seeds in beds at the right time and in a qualitative way.

It made sure that farms set the right time to sow rice seeds in beds, as required by the climate conditions and the growth term of different strains of rice, while thoroughly meeting technical requirements in sowing.

Sinuiju City produced hundreds of thousands of square meters of vinyl chloride sheets and sent them to co-op farms, thus pushing ahead with sowing of rice seeds as scheduled.

Co-op farms in Unjon and Yomju counties raised the germination rate of rice seeds and sowed them properly despite unfavorable weather conditions by positively applying the advanced farming methods.

Other co-op farms in the province finished sowing of rice seeds and are now concentrating their efforts on tending the rice seedbeds by using the multi-nutrients for rice seedlings and herbicides efficiently.
