Meetings, seminars, round-table talks, book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Mongolia, Iran, Vietnam, Belarus, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Guinea, Senegal, Angola and Mexico.

Screened at the film shows were Korean films and videos showing the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un's journey of devoted service for the people's wellbeing.

Present at the events were personages of political and social circles and people in those countries.

The general secretary of the Workers' Party for the Independence of Senegal praised the President as the founder of socialist Korea and the prominent leader of the revolution.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said that it is the President's greatest exploits that he founded the Juche idea and ushered in the era of independence.

Personages from the External Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam noted that the President is not only the great leader of the Korean people but also a close friend of the Vietnamese people.

The deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party praised the President for his wise leadership and the director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea spoke highly of the noble sense of internationalist obligation of the President and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the peerlessly great men who rendered material and moral assistance to the agricultural development of Guinea.

The general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran noted that the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle and the development of friendly relations with Iran will be remembered forever.

The chairperson of the Mongolia-Korea Parliamentary Group of the State Great Hural noted that the President paid deep attention to developing the relations with Mongolia.

Adopted at the events held in Belarus and Switzerland were messages of greeting to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Meanwhile, a concert for celebrating the Day of the Sun was given by the Uruk Symphony Orchestra in Manhattan, New York.
