Project for Improving Educational Environment Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Practical measures for reducing the regional disparity in education have been taken in the DPRK.

Sariwon Teacher Training College was newly built in North Hwanghae Province. It has a building with versatile classrooms and laboratories, e-library, gymnasium, dormitory, etc.

Kindergartens were spruced up in Pyongyang, Sariwon and Songrim cities and Sungho, Hwangju, Unpha and Jungsan counties.

Officials of North Phyongan Province, Nampho City and other areas have rendered positive helps to universities and schools in their regions and organized educational aid exhibitions to arouse the public interest in education.

Supporters' organizations in Hoechang, Phyongwon counties and other areas have aided a large quantity of materials and equipment necessary for building model schools, remodeling schools and putting education on an IT basis.

Universities and schools across the country have been furnished with a large number of educational equipment thanks to the officials and working people across the country.
