The province has scrupulously organized and supervised the work to take agricultural technical measures while mobilizing all manpower and means after making a detailed survey of the paddy- and dry-fields which are vulnerable to drought.

It has also tapped all kinds of pumping equipment and established a regular system of water supply control at reservoirs for the immediate farming and enhanced the drought resistance of crops by sprinkling nutrient solution and growth promoter.

Officials and workers of the province have watered thousands of hectares of fields every day.

They are putting all efforts into minimizing the damage from drought while accelerating the immediate farming as planned.
