Pumping equipment such as sprinklers, small water pumps and motors are intensively deployed in farm fields vulnerable to drought and all water transport means mobilized in South Phyongan, North Hwanghae and South Hamgyong provinces and other parts of the country. And a work for securing water source to the maximum was launched in earnest.

Ministries and national institutions have dispatched their officials to the regions that can be damaged by drought to positively cooperate with the regional officials and working people in the drought damage prevention campaign. They have already started watering farm fields.
