Contributed there were more than 2, 000 literary works with over 1, 000 workers, farmers, soldiers, office workers and students attending.

Nearly 200 works were highly appraised.

Many works reflecting the struggle and life of the Korean people who are powerfully accelerating the general advance for the overall development of socialist construction were created through the contest.

Among the works are those created by ordinary working people who are bringing into bloom their creative talents in the stirring reality, including poems reflecting the noble mental world of the young vanguard who are performing feats in the area of Mt Paektu.

Also among the works are those created by teachers and students of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Ri Kye Sun Sariwon University of Education and other universities.

The Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea is taking measures to control new literary persons and bring up them systematically.
