99 Meanders of Chonsangsu in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- 99 Meanders of Chonsangsu is a natural monument in Sampho-ri, Yonsa County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

It is located in a valley where Chonsangsu, a branch of Yonmyonsu (stream) flowing from Kwanmo Peak.

Adjacent to Chonsangsu are mountains with the height above the sea level such as Kwanmo Peak and Mt Tojong.

The name of Chonsangsu is attributable to its location in a high mountain and it has 99 meanders.

Chonsangsu is sometimes called the Rocky River with 99 Meanders.

The sides and bottom of the 99 Meanders of Chonsangsu are all bedrock.

The 99 Meanders of Chonsangsu is a natural monument of great scientific significance.
