Mobile Service Teams' Activities Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- Activities of mobile service teams for minimizing inconvenience and suffering of the people and stabilizing their life have become brisk under the intensified lockdown condition in the DPRK.

According to data available, at least 1, 000 mobile service teams are now active in districts and counties of the capital city of Pyongyang alone.

Their members are carrying daily necessities, basic foodstuff and other supplies in urgent need for the people's living to dong offices and neighborhood units (residential quarters) for distribution. In close touch with officials at dong offices and heads of neighborhood units, they made a detailed survey of the number of mouths to feed and the amount of supplies in need and have taken timely steps.

Many service team members active in other parts of the country, too, have taken care of isolated inhabitants, paying primary attention to the settlement of food and cooking fuel problems.

Provinces, cities and counties strive to provide the mobile service teams with favorable working conditions, properly carrying on the organization and guidance over the transport of such supplies as basic foodstuff, cooking fuel and vegetables.

The number of service team members is growing with each passing day.
