It has pushed ahead with the construction of minor hydraulic power stations since the outset of this year.

It concentrates its labor force and means on the construction of power stations after mapping out a plan in detail in the light of the generating capacities scientifically calculated on the basis of the amount of water resources in each area.

It secured materials and accessories necessary for manufacturing water gates in contact with a relevant unit, while preparing for installing the water gates after completing their designs in cooperation with the technicians of a relevant institute.

The province also steps up the construction of the Usi Power Station No. 3 and the Hwaphyong Power Station No. 2.
