Progress Made in Work for Increased Juche Iron Production

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK is stepping up the increased production of Juche iron by dint of science and technology, true to the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee.

Its officials and workers attained ten-odd technical innovation goals for the reinforcement of production foundations.

Technical innovation plans conducive to the increased iron and steel production have been introduced at several workshops of the complex.

Current production processes were further perfected and an adhesive binder making technology and a process of producing various shapes of steel were established to reduce the iron and steel production cost.
