Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- The Komalsan Offshore Atlantic Salmon Farm in the DPRK has so far released hundreds of thousands of Myongthae (Alaska Pollack) fry into the sea off the farm this year. It released tens of thousands of fry last year as it succeeded in the artificial breeding of Myongthae. As a result, it opened up a sure prospect for putting the cyclic Myongthae-breeding system on a new scientific basis. Its officials and employees are now directing efforts to perfecting the system in cooperation with researchers of the Academy of Fishery Science under the Ministry of Fisheries. |
