DPRK Witnesses Successes in Generating Electricity Early in June

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The officials and workers of power plants and stations in the DPRK, who exceeded the economic plans for May under the maximum emergency anti-epidemic situation, are successfully providing electricity for the economic sectors early in June.

By exploring and tapping reserves, possibility and potentials, the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant and the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant overfulfilled their plans for June 1 by 3 percent and 8 percent respectively.

The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the Sunchon Thermal Power Plant, the Chongchongang Power Plant are fulfilling their daily plans without fail.

Suphung, Sodusu and Jangjingang power stations are operating generating equipment at full capacity.

Thaechon and Huichon power stations, too, are making successes in generating electricity.

The workers of Pujongang and Hochongang power stations continue supplying electricity to grand construction sites.
