Stockbreeding Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Increasing in the DPRK is the number of units taking the lead in thoroughly implementing the Party's policy on stockbreeding.

The Chonghae Farm in Pukchong County of South Hamgyong Province has produced hundreds of pigs every year through a mass technological innovation movement.

The farm built pens with favorable conditions for breeding pigs even in winter and established an orderly stockbreeding system while breeding pigs in a scientific way. It contributed to fulfilling grain production plans for recent years by establishing a ring-shaped rotation production system for agricultural production and stockbreeding.

The Subong Cooperative Farm under the North Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee has updated the pens into comprehensive and effective ones and bred many pigs, ducks, geese, goats, etc.

The farm thereby secured sufficient farm materials and equipment needed for its production and operation by its own efforts.

The Yongjin Cooperative Farm in Kangnam County of Pyongyang City wages a campaign for increased production of livestock products and crops by producing a large amount of quality organic fertilizers conducive to increasing the fertility of soil.

Many farms have revitalized stockbreeding, by surely holding fast to the four key factors in the development of livestock farming, to benefit from it.
