The founding anniversary of the KCU has been marked with colorful political and cultural events amid the attention and blessing of the people across the country every year, thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the top leader of the DPRK.

A joint national meeting of the KCU organizations took place in the presence of the top leader on June 6, Juche 101 (2012) to celebrate its 66th anniversary.

The top leader watched a concert with the delegates to the meeting and had a photo session with them.

He attended the Seventh Congress of the KCU in June 2013 to congratulate its delegates and saw to it that they had a pleasant time during their stay in Pyongyang.

He had a photo session with the delegates and made sure that parties were given for those who greeted their birthdays during their stay. He also sent gifts to all the delegates.

The top leader enjoyed the performance "We Are the Happiest in the World" given by school children to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary before having a photo session with them.

The photo exhibition "The sun and red neckties" took place at the People's Palace of Culture on the anniversary.

The Eighth Congress of the KCU was held in Pyongyang to mark its 71st founding anniversary.

The top leader addressed the congress to set forth the main tasks facing the KCU organizations.
