| DPRK Farms Make Signal Achievements in Weeding Maize Fields

| Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- 75 percent of the maize fields in the DPRK have been weeded twice and some co-op farms push ahead with weeding fields once again. The agricultural workers in South Hwanghae Province weeded all the maize fields twice and began another round of weeding. The agricultural workers and volunteers in North Phyongan Province have weeded thousands of hectares of maize fields every day. The same is true of Pyongyang City, South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces and Nampho City. |
