More than 700 literary works of various kinds were presented to the national literature festival which was held to mark the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 80th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea organized a contest involving all the writers in the capital city and provinces to further their creative enthusiasm through the festival.

Many literary works have been produced in a short span of time since the start of the contest.

Provincial writers unions produce works for instilling into the people the confidence that they are sure to win a victory in the emergency anti-epidemic struggle and for encouraging them to struggle for the overall development of socialist construction.
