Agricultural workers of the Chongsan Co-op Farm in Kangso District, the Oguk Co-op Farm in Anak County, the Sokha Cooperative Farm in Sinuiju City, the Wonhwa Co-op Farm in Phyongwon County and the Namchang Cooperative Farm in Munchon City took the lead in rice-transplanting.

Agricultural workers in South Hwanghae Province distinguished themselves in rice-transplanting by introducing efficient working methods.

The same is true of those of North Phyongan Province, North Hwanghae Province, Wonsan City, Kumgang and Hoeyang counties of Kangwon Province, Chongjin City and Myongchon County of North Hamgyong Province, South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho City.

Officials of the ministries and national institutions and volunteers rendered material and moral assistance to the immediate farming and central and provincial art troupes conducted agit-prop activities in co-op farms.
