Calling for dynamically speeding up the ongoing march to carry through the militant tasks set forth at the enlarged meeting, rallied closer around the Party Central Committee, the editorial says:

Since the beginning of the vigorous advance for this year of key importance in carrying out the five-year plan, our people have waged a decisive struggle to bring earlier overall prosperity of the country in all fields of socialist construction under the guidance of the Party. Even under the worst subjective and objective conditions and circumstances caused by the nationwide spread of malignant epidemic that could be called the worst upheaval ever after the founding of the country, we have not stopped even a moment our advance toward the overall development of socialist construction. In particular, the deepened trust of all the people in the Party's leadership and policies is a great political success incomparable with any material wealth.

Not content with the proud and precious achievements in the first half of this year, we should exert ourselves to fulfill the plans for this year without fail by displaying greater enthusiasm.

Let us glorify this significant year as a great victorious year of making another fresh leap forward in hastening the comprehensive development of socialism by turning out as one in the efforts to carry out the militant tasks advanced at the 5th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee.
