According to data available, over 7, 400 officials of the working people's organizations, some 16, 200 trade union members and more than 9, 200 youth and students donated over 523, 000 pieces of medicines and medical supplies of more than 30 kinds and a large amount of food and money to the relevant units and families in difficulty in the period from May 13 to 24.

Among them are officials and members of the youth league including the chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the youth league, and students and pupils across the country.

Good deeds are also done by officials and members of the trade union, the agricultural workers' union and the women's union.
