Seminars were given in Bangladesh, Syria and the Czech Republic, lectures in Kyrgyzstan and Guinea, and a round-table talk in Cambodia.

They were attended by public personages and people in those countries.

The general secretary of the Syrian Communist Party (Unified) praised Chairman Kim Jong Il as a great statesman who developed the WPK into an ideologically pure entity and integral organization guided by the firm monolithic ideological system of the leader.

The secretary general of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia noted that his party's friendly relationship with the WPK will be immortal, saying the benevolence shown by the great leaders HE Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il for the great King Norodom Sihanouk and the Cambodian people will never be forgotten.

The chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association stressed the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by guiding the WPK will always go down in history.

Recalling that the WPK has vigorously advanced along the road of socialism in the face of the worst tempests and trials of history, members of the leadership of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, including the chairman and the general secretary of its Central Committee, said the secret of such successful progress lies in the fact that the WPK has been guided by the Juche idea only.

The chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan affirmed his will to invariably support the just cause of the WPK.
