The Chairman started his guidance on the revolutionary armed forces through his visit to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on Aug. 25, 1960.

He consolidated the national defence capability in every way while resolutely rejecting all sorts of challenges under the uplifted banner of socialism in the period of harsh trials unprecedented in history.

It is the feats of the Chairman who pursued his unique Songun politics that the DPRK could turn into an invincible powerful country capable of coping with any aggression move of the imperialists and vigorously push ahead with socialist construction.

His whole life is the one of an outstanding party and state leader dedicated to the country and people.
