Under a detailed plan, the Ministry of Urban Management organized a technical course for those involved in examining water to improve their analysis capability. And it has scrupulously carried on the guidance so that the relevant units take measures to remove the sources of various epidemics by concentrating efforts on consolidating the anti-epidemic foundations.

The ministry set it as a primary task to produce and supply quality water to Pyongyang citizens and provided equipment, reagents and others needed for test of water quality, as specified in the relevant rules, so as to put the water quality analysis on a scientific basis.

Urban management officials in other parts of the country, too, take measures to ensure the supply of sterilized drinking water.
