Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the factory on June 17, Juche 91 (2002) and indicated task and ways for putting the beer brewing on a normal footing, expressing the great satisfaction over the inauguration of a brewery for providing the people with beer in all seasons.

The workers of the factory have devoted themselves to brewing new Korean-style beer, recording proud successes and feats in its history for the past 20 years.

A meeting was held on June 17 to convey a congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials of the factory.

Jon Hyon Chol, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, read out the message at the meeting.
