The central emergency epidemic prevention sector launched a campaign for treating patients by dispatching relevant officials and rapid collective diagnosis teams of the national hygienic and anti-epidemic center to the areas in South Hwanghae Province, where an acute enteric epidemic occurred, and making an epidemiological survey of inhabitants and checking up persons with fever.

The Ministry of Public Health took measures for rapidly checking the spread of the epidemic in cooperation with medical workers in relevant areas while ensuring the medicine supply.

The emergency anti-epidemic units and curative and preventive organs at all levels intensify their medical check-ups of all citizens, while finding all the patients with fever. Medical workers in charge of households are urged to enhance their responsibility so as to take necessary measures for monitoring and curing the ailing children and old persons and the patients with chronic diseases.

As many volunteer helpers work in the countryside, medical workers were deployed in different farms to conduct medical checkups and disinfection in cooperation with hygienic workers.

The urban management sector reinforces the sewage treatment facilities and thoroughly disinfects and disposes garbage, while ensuring the hygienic safety of the drinking water.

Efforts are directed to laying strong foundations for constantly preserving the health and safety of the people.

Medical educational organs and anti-epidemic and health units at all levels strive to improve the educational conditions and climate urgently needed in furthering the system of training specialists in anti-epidemic sector and boosting the tele-reeducation and technical short course.
