The Korean people, who have made the overall development of Korean-style socialism true to the idea and leadership of the Party, are greeting the significant day (June 19, 1964) when Chairman Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK.

As led by him, the WPK could be strengthened into an invincible revolutionary party and successfully discharge its mission in accomplishing the socialist cause of Juche.

Through his energetic guidance he strengthened the WPK into the most dignified and prestigious party of the leader and the mother party and the staff of the Juche revolution for the first time in history.

By firmly realizing the single-minded unity of the Party and the revolutionary ranks, he ushered in the heyday in the era of the Workers' Party, brought about miracles of victory in the unprecedented struggle for defending socialism and glorified the DPRK as the politically and ideologically strong power and military power.

The immortal feats he performed by leading the DPRK to ever-victorious road in the whole period of his revolutionary leadership are deeply cherished in the hearts of the Korean people.

The idea of the Chairman on building of the party and his cause is carried forward and further developed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

In order to further strengthen the WPK into the staff of revolution guiding the socialist cause of Juche, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un has wisely led the work for strengthening the Party organizationally and ideologically and remarkably enhancing its militant function and role.

He has indicated in time the scientific and realistic strategy and tactics in keeping with the ever-changing situation and the developing reality at major Party meetings, which inspire the Korean people to vigorously advance to the shortcut to socialist construction with steadfast conviction of the future in the worst adversity.
